It's been nearly two weeks since the last blog post. We have accomplished a lot in that time! Visit the Math and Language pages to review what we've been learning. You'll also see some of your work posted. This afternoon, we're very lucky to have a Prologue performance by Juno-nominated accapella group, Cadence. How did you enjoy the show?

If you could ask the members of Cadence a question, what would you want to know?

Special Events
Dear Friends,
This was a very busy week for the grade 4 and 5 students in particular because of the mascot elections and special guest visit from Canada's first aboriginal judge, Harry Laforme. To read more about his background and role in our government, check out this link:

I was impressed by the hard work you did to write your home letters this week. You brainstormed your ideas, selected the best ones, added some description and wrote your letter. How did reading the letter aloud to me help you edit and revise your writing?
Next week, we will be finishing our unit on Data Management. The next unit will be on measuring time. You can review the math concepts on the blog's math page above. Where can you find tables, charts and graphs in real life?
Have a wonderful weekend,
Ms. Perlmutter
